WORSHIP ARTS MINISTRIES

“Sing to the Lord, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.” Psalm 96:2-4

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Worship Arts Ministries are vital to the life of Community Bible Fellowship as it seeks to glorify God and edify His people through music and other arts. We pursue God-exalting, Christ-centered, and Spirit-led worship services that proceed from and promote worshipful living every day. We use a balanced array of ancient and modern, eloquent and elementary, familiar and contemporary music to support this purpose. Sharing our artistic gifts helps us cultivate a culture around the Word so that it may be increasingly true of CBF that the Word of Christ dwells in us richly.

Adult Choir

Adult Choir is open to volunteers, ages 16 years of ages and up, of various skill levels and musical backgrounds. The Adult Choir sings regularly in Sunday morning services during the fall, winter and spring. Our goal is to accomplish Paul’s desire for the church as we “teach and ad-monish one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in our hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).  Please contact us if you are interested in joining a group of individuals who love to exalt the Lord together in song. Auditions are required. Rehearses Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm and scheduled Sundays to help lead worship at 8:00am.

Creative Arts

The Creative Arts Committee (CAC) exists to use our God-given gifts and talents to “set the tone” and create a beautiful, worshipful environment that reflects God’s handiwork in nature. Through the arts, we want to utilize our creative abilities, talents, and skills to glorify God in the way we decorate the auditorium at Community Bible Fellowship Church. Contact us if you would like to be a part of a team dedicated to pointing people to Christ through decoration and art.
