Children's Ministries

“Teach them to your children . . .”

– Deuteronomy 11:19

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with parents, CBF Kids will faithfully teach the Gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ to all children so that they will become disciples of Christ who glorify God by loving the Lord and others well.

Mission of CBF Kids

Deuteronomy 6:7

God commands us to teach the Scriptures to our children.

2 Timothy 3:15

The Scriptures make one wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teach-ing them all that He has commanded.

Psalm 78:1-7

God commands us to tell the next generation of His mighty acts so that they might set their hope in Him and not forget His works but keep His commandments

God’s Word

CBF Kids seeks to immerse children in God’s Word, teach them how to pray and worship, and support their families in their commitment to facilitate spiritual growth. These goals are accomplished by the following:

Teach children the entire Bible. We incorporate the Truth78 curriculum that systematically teaches the Scriptures as God’s redemptive story.

Lead children to recognize their sinful nature and to respond in repentance and faith to God.

Cultivate a passion for following Christ through specialized discipleship training that is age appropriate.

Provide children an opportunity to see the hand of God at work in the world, helping them develop a strong Christian worldview.

Foster relationship-building with not only their peers, but also with all ages in the church.

Provide opportunities for service and stewardship in the context of CBF and the wider Christian community.

We seek to provide a safe, secure ministry environment with policies and procedures specially developed to screen, train, and oversee employees and volunteers. Our volunteer teachers are qualified and trained with the Truth78 curriculum which is God-centered, Bible-saturated, Gospel-focused, Christ-exalting, Spirit-dependent, doctrinally-grounded, and discipleship-oriented.
