Mission & Core Values
Our Mission: We exist to love God and love others. We are a Christ-centered community living our mission through vibrant worship, in-depth instruction, strong fellowship, and sacrificial service to one another.
Glory to Our God:
Living by faith . . . entrusting our talents, finances, and plans to God’s control (Colossians 1:27).
Passionate for His Word:
Deepening our study of the Scriptures as we seek to grow in our knowledge of the Lord (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Centrality of the Gospel:
Pursuing a life that is missions minded as we exalt our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are looking to be a Gospel-centered body of believers.—both in message and in action (1 Corinthians 9:23).
Grace in Our Relationships:
Practicing thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity, courtesy, freedom, forgiveness, encouragement, and appreciation of others’ differences as we inspire greatness in those around us (Philippians 2:1-5).
Accountability to One Another:
Living a life that is characterized by vulnerability, teachability, honesty, and availability (Colossians 3:12-13).
Excellence in Our Pursuits:
Reflecting the infinite excellence of the God we serve . . . producing the highest quality ministry programs, materials, and services possible (Colossians 3:17).
We uphold seven core beliefs as essential to Christianity. These beliefs relate to God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, humanity, salvation, and the end of time.
. . . that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.
. . . in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.
. . . in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.
. . . that man was created by and for God; that by man’s disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.
. . . the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in the right relationship with God.
. . . in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.
. . . in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in His Son.

Our Associate Pastor: Maicol Venter

Shortly thereafter, he received an invitation to study at Cedarville University with a basketball scholarship.
After completing his undergrad in Pre-Seminary at Cedarville (2007), Maicol also earned his Masters of Divinity at Baptist Bible Seminary (2012) where he met his wife, Mandy.
Maicol and Mandy moved back to Brazil as missionaries his last year of seminary (2011) to complete the required internship. They have served as church planters since seminary and have just transitioned from the mission field in Southern Brazil after ten years of service.
They have two daughters, Stella and Cami, and as a family they enjoy playing games, all sports, and most importantly, the privilege of ministering the gospel truth that Jesus saves.
